The collection consists of 13 vintage photographs of Böttcherstrasse in the historic center of Bremen, Germany, as well as reviews and offprints about the street, collected by Peter G. Dorén as research for a publication about Böttcherstrasse. Twelve of the photographs are by E. Max Kaufmann; the thirteenth is by Rudolph Stickelman. Included are views of the street, details of facades and architectural ornamentation, and exterior and interior views and details of the Paula Modersohn-Becker-Haus. Three of the four articles present in offprint were written by Ludwig Roselius. There is a copy of Bernhard Hoeteger's monograph on Paula-Becker-Modersohn-Haus, and a sheet of plans of Paula-Modersohn-Becker-Haus and HAG-Haus (now Museum Roselius-Haus). Also included are an offprint of Dorén's article on the Böttcherstrasse from the Allgemeine Maler-Zeitung (22 Juli 1927), and a copy of an unsigned article by Dorén [?] from the Weser Zeitung (2 Juni 1927).
